Who operates BasketBalance

BasketBalance is operated by AVH Digital.

Information we may use

This may include account details, saved products, lists, watched product barcodes, price-alert events, form submissions, product suggestions, correction reports and basic website usage information. When you accept analytics, BasketBalance may also measure actions such as opening the scanner, successful or failed product lookups, searches, product views, saves, list additions, price watches and guide-to-product journeys. Analytics events do not include account passwords, and email addresses are not intentionally sent as analytics parameters. If you submit community price evidence, it may also include the product barcode, retailer, price, observation date, optional shop location, an uploaded receipt, shelf photograph or screenshot, and an optional contact email.

How the information is used

We use this information to provide product search, saved lists, price watch, account access, support, service updates and product data improvements. Community price evidence is reviewed for moderation and is not automatically published. We may use the optional email only if a moderation question needs clarification. BasketBalance may record a retailer-link click with the retailer name, product barcode and displayed price for service analytics; affiliate query parameters are not stored in the app state.

Community price evidence

Before uploading a receipt, shelf photograph or screenshot, cover card numbers, loyalty details, names, addresses and any other personal information. Only submit material that you created or have permission to share. Evidence may be retained while it is reviewed and while a price record needs supporting evidence. You can contact BasketBalance to ask about or request deletion of your submission.

Cookies and local storage

BasketBalance may use cookies or local storage to keep the app working, remember preferences and support account/session features.

Your choices

You can choose not to create an account. Search and scan features can still be used where available without saving products to your account.
