Use of the service

BasketBalance helps you scan or search products, review useful details and save products or lists when account features are used.

Product information

Scores, ingredient notes, additive notes, prices, images and alternatives may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable for some products.

Prices, observations and retailer links

Current retailer-feed prices are shown only where a connected authorised feed supplies a usable exact-product match. Community-observed prices, including Open Prices records, are dated evidence and are not live prices, stock checks or guarantees that the same price is still available. Some retailer links may be affiliate links, meaning BasketBalance may earn a commission from a qualifying purchase. Affiliate status does not change the BasketBalance product score or alternative ranking.

Community submissions

When submitting a receipt, shelf photograph or screenshot, you confirm that you created it or have permission to share it. You must cover payment-card details, loyalty information, names, addresses and other private information. Submissions are moderated, may be rejected, and do not automatically appear publicly. You must not upload unlawful, misleading or infringing material.

Your responsibility

Always check the product label, warnings and retailer page before making a purchase or using a product.

Availability

BasketBalance may change, pause or improve features as product data sources, retailer feeds and account features develop.
